정파휴먼서비스리서치연구소는 다양한 서비스 프로그램의 개발과 대안적 프로그램의 모색을 통해 영파의료재단의 병원에서 - 규림병원과 마음향기병원 - 노인성질환과 정신장애를 겪고 있는 분들과 가족을 지원하기 위해 2003년 설립했다.
연구소의 역할은 조사 연구 및 평가분석을 통해 정책개발과 경영 및 행정지원에 까지 확대되고 있다. 이러한 역할 수행은 미국 뉴욕주립대학교의 Center for Human Services Research와 함께 파트너십을 갖고 진행되는 것으로 조사연구와 프로그램 개발에 공동으로 협력하고 있다.
The Jungpa Institute of Human Services Research (JIHSR) was established in 2003 with the express primary purpose of assisting Youngpa Medical Foundation (YPMF)’s Hospitals - Gyurim Geriatric Hospital and Maum Hyanggi Hospital - to enhance services and supports to people with geriatric diseases or adult diseases and people with mental disorder, and to support the development of alternatives to existing health care services.
In addition, the existing works of JIHSR expand the use of research and evaluation to guide policy and administration. JIHSR has partnership with the Center for Human Services Research State University of New York, Albany to work collaboratively toward a common goal that of research and developing the human services programs.
